ManiFestival is a celebration of the African American community and culture in Fort Worth, Texas. From Juneteenth celebrations to youth basketball tournaments, the festival offers a range of events for all ages.
Join us for exciting events including the Go Entrepreneurial Experience showcasing local Black-owned businesses, the inspiring Parade of Freedom through downtown, and The Big C Pro-Am 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament featuring youth and adult divisions. Don't miss our signature Juneteenth ManiFestival celebration with live music, cultural performances, and educational exhibits.
Other highlights include the Taste Of Eastside Bridging the Gap Cops vs. Community Barbecue Cook-Off fostering positive community relations, and the Dopest Rides in the South Car Show displaying classic and custom vehicles. Each event celebrates our heritage while building community connections.

The Juneteenth Parade of Freedom is more than just a march—it’s a powerful movement honoring the legacy of freedom, resilience, and community. As we gather in the heart of Fort Worth, Texas, we unite to celebrate Juneteenth, the day that symbolizes the triumph of liberation and the strength of our ancestors.
🎉 A Grand Celebration of Culture & Pride
This electrifying parade will feature vibrant floats, high-energy marching bands, community leaders, dance troupes, classic cars, and local organizations all coming together to create a spectacle of history and hope. With each drumbeat and cheer, we pay homage to the past while stepping boldly into the future.
🚶🏾‍♂️ The March for Freedom
Starting at Renaissance Square, we will journey through the streets with pride and purpose, filling Fort Worth with the sounds of jubilation and unity. The parade route will lead to the Eugene McCray Community Center, where the celebration will continue with live entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities.

The Soul of Sycamore Juneteenth 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is an electrifying five-week competition designed to bring together youth, athletes, and the community through basketball, mentorship, and leadership development. The tournament serves as a dynamic platform to foster sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork while celebrating Juneteenth’s legacy of unity and empowerment.
We are currently seeking the ideal venue to host our high-stakes Championship Game on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM in Fort Worth, TX.

Join us for this exciting annual event that brings together law enforcement officers and community members in a friendly barbecue competition designed to build relationships and foster mutual understanding.
Barbecue Competition
Enjoy delicious food prepared by both police officers and community members competing for the "Best BBQ in Eastside" trophy. Taste and vote for your favorite dishes across multiple categories including ribs, brisket, chicken, and sides. Professional judges will award prizes for technique and flavor.
Community Engagement
A great way to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community through meaningful conversation and shared experiences. Meet your local officers in a relaxed setting, participate in open dialogue sessions, and learn about community policing initiatives. Exchange perspectives while enjoying great food.
Family-Friendly
A fun and interactive event for the whole family featuring live music, games, face painting, and educational activities. Children can explore police vehicles, learn about safety, and participate in junior cooking demonstrations. Free admission for all ages with food tickets available for purchase.
